O.k. obviously guys i need heads really bad,what do i tell the guy at the machine shop that i want done to my heads?
ported? polished? anything else?

Port, polish, bowl blend, and a 3 or 5 angle valve job should make for a nice improvement.

Oops, forgot milling the heads! Good call smokedawg! Mill about .030, no more than that though. Should be good for about .5 more compression.

Or you could just send them to power heads and have them cnc port them along with all the other goodies.

We had my GT40s done over the winter. They were milled .020, which raised compression up to 9.35:1. We also had the 1.84 valves removed in favor of 1.94s. The car seems to run better, but we have no track times (Friday is the day!). All the work (which also included a 5 angle valve job) set us back $343.00, and included Ferrea valves. If you're lucky the shop can do a radius valve job. It's just a slight step above a 5 angle job. Plus getting them poted, polished, bowl blended, and milled. Just remember milling might require rocker arm shims.
