I'm glad there not really popular with the mainstream public. Otherwise prices would be alot more than they already are.

As far as drag cars go a fox body mustang lx hatchback would be my first choice. Though prices still aren't low enough for me to start a project car yet.

and my opinion is the 65-70 , then i like the 99+ body styles, you know what they say about opinions. :D

Eazy, do you mean the best looking of all Mustangs? or do you mean "all" the cars out there? i would have to disagree with you if you mean "all" cars out there. as for Stangs, i would have to agree with you. a very close second would be the 65-70 Stangs.

actually, i totally agree with you on that. i love them with the race nose on them without the bumper.

I was really just "dick'en" with you srv1, as I love all Mustangs. Well, maybe not the II's.

Yep! The white 65 fastback with blue stripes and the round number on the hood, also with Torq Thrust wheels! That, IMO is the best looking stang!

I think it is pretty well agreed that the II's are considered the red headed step child of the lineage. Nobody give's em a second thought until one rocks your world (ala t-topped II w/a 460) then you never look at them the same.

Of course I never liked the 71-7? lead sled cars either. So what do I know?

To me Fox body's are works of art if they are nice :D

I think that the '68-'70 are the best looking. Especially the Mach I's and BOSSes.
I like all fox mustangs as well, my favorites are the '82 GT, '84-'86 SVO, '85-'86 GT's, all '87-'93 mustangs (especially the '93 cobra and cobra R) and the '99+ GT's.
The years i like best are the fox years because there are TONS of different types made....turboed 2.3's, 3.3L, 3.8L (mid 80's), 4.2L V8, 5.0L, anemic 2.3L's.........i'm getting carried away, i'm done now :D
