Which Engine???
Ok, I have a 1967 Coupe. Currently residing in my car is an inline 6 cylinder 200. I want to upgrade the engine to a horsepower monster. At first I was thinking of puttign in a 390 big block, but I have been recently told that I can stuff a 427 or even a 460 in my engine bay (with the sacrafice of no power brakes, something I can live with). I need to know if this is possible or should I just stick with the 390.

i have thought about this very project mant times. what i decided to do if i ever bought a 67-70 mustang was to swap a 460 in. i feel it has better power potential than the 390 or 427, although there are those who will disagree with me. back the motor with a richmond 5spd or a built AOD-E automatic and you will have a cool package for cruising, or blowing off many generic motors products.

What kind of build do you have in the 200? If you've rebuilt any parts or bought new ones, I may be interested in taking them off your hands. Drop me a line when you decide what to do.

The 200m is completely rebuilt. It has been bored out to .30 and runs great. When I do the swap, I will definetly drop you a line.
