Low 14's with an aod???
 
ok i got my 4.10's in and there are bad ***
but i want to know if i could run low 14's
with my stock aod, a ported explorer intake upper and lower,4.10's,under drive pullies,upper control arms,and a new set of street tires,and timing set at 14* to 16*

Maybe if you have a coupe of something real light. Get a 2800-3000 stall converter, lose some weight, get some sticky tires and you'll get it easy.

my '90 GT was AOD.....it went 14.40's
w/ low gear set, 3.73's and 2200 stall.
Ported GT-40 and thats about it.
I think you should be good for 14.20's.....

my 93 gt with stock heads, intake, and cam runs 13.4 @ 104 MPH nothing on the car is ported and the heads and intake have never been off, i use 373 gears though
