Bosch Platinum +4

Some guys down at the shop told me that the Bosch Plugs dont work well with the 5.0 HO engine. Is this a line of bullwater or do these guys know what they're talking about? Also, they said the motorcraft plugs were the best.

Those gimmick plugs are a waste of money. Motorcraft or autolite are what is usually recommended.

stick with motorcraft. I had some quality issues with autolights in the past.

I have the Bosh +4 platinums on a stock engine. I haven't had any problems or complaints for over 10K miles. I have MSD Blaster coil and Ford 9MM wires.

I put Bosch plugs in my stock '89 at about 20k 'cause I didn't want to change them often. I now have 70k on it, and have had no problems.

Keep in mind I don't run it hard or race. It's just plain 'ole stock as it came out of the box.

I've had them both, and I think they're both just fine.....but if you want to save a few $$$ then go w/ the motorsport. Bosch....NGK etc etc a lot more $$$ for the same results.

i went with the motorcraft, the old ones looked pretty shitty and obviously needed replacing, but the car, not surprisingly, feels somewhere between the same and slightly smoother. Thanks all for the advice and input!
