burn outs

when ever i do a burn out with my car it starts to make a high pitch squeel...im thinking that the squeel might just be cause i havnt gottem my winter tires off it yet...and i will only leave on tire mark on the pavement...does this happen to anyone else...thanks

If I had to guess I would guess the only mark made is the passenger side rear wheel. The high pitch could be the tires chirping. I do not do burn outs cause I can not afford new tires.

burnout at the dragstrip, thats when it can be to your advantage....get caught doing it on the street, expect a hefty fine

You say winter tires.....are they studded? THat would make alot of noise.

Also your car has what is called an "open" differential (rear axle) so it will only spin one tire in excessive power situations. You can upgrade to a limited slip by getting one installed in your car and then you'd have 2 nice even burnout marks and twice the smoke when you do it :D
