BEST CAM! For TW/GT40 Combo

Hey, I need everyone's opinion on this.

I need to know in your experiences what the best hydraulic roller cam is for good mid range power with Twisted wedge heads and a GT-40 intake.

Thanks

If you want something easy go with a E-303 cam from FMS.

Anything around 280-284 duration and 490-510 lift shoudl be good.

I would try a different intake though, w/ the TFS heads, Probably a street heat.

2nd That

I agree with Skyler there,if you want a simple combo get one of the FMS alphabet cams stay away from the Z303 that thing is a monster unless you jack up the compression ratio with it.

What is so great about the TW heads,is with the heads you can run a nice size cam without worrying about piston notching but you should always check it.

Simple street combo E303,B303,or F303 good shorty headers and good exhaust hope you have some gears also.

I'm trying to stay away from square cam profiles, I heard they don't work well with Ford engines.

Try calling Anderson Ford Motorsport and have them hook you up with a cam. They've gotten some rather impressive results from their grinds, but they're a little more money than the out-of-the-box stuff. Trick Flow makes a couple of decent cams as well. I like my Trick Flow stage 1 cam.

That's what I've heard!!! :) :)

From everyone's opinions I've got lately, Trick Flow Stage one seems to be everyones favorite hands down

I like the look of the specs! And the mid range (ton's) seems to be what it's got.

If you decide to go with the TFS #1 cam let me know the results when you get your project completed. I'm seriously considering a head upgrade and I'd be interested to see some real-world results with that cam and your heads.
