Well, If I Do Or Dont Get A Criminal Charge, Whatever Happens, I Think I Am Going To Hold Off On Buying A New 5.0 Until I Reach At Least 20.

I Know It Is Going To Be Tough, But I Think I Should Wait Until I Have More Experience Driving.

Buying A 5.0 For My First Car Was Fun, But It Is Also A Lot Of Responsibility.

I May Just Buy A Crashed One Again, To Work On, Until I Am Ready To Drive One Again(And That I Can AFFORD To Drive One)

Ill Still Be On Here, But Probably Not As Much.

What Are Some Safe Cars That Are Cheep, Cheep To Insure, And Good On Gas?

Get an F-150 with a straight 6. That way you have a truck, which it sounds like you're leaning twoards, but not the hassle of any v8 premium. Just ask PKRWUD, they are good trucks.

buy a powerstroke diesel. lots of aftermarket hop-up parts
make them scream!

Get a classic stang!!!!!! Like a 1969mach1 or if you are really rich by a 1968 shelby gt 500 with a 428 super cobra jet oooo yahhhhhhhhh and then buy me one too!;)

hahaha! im far from being rich, so i need a cheep on gas, and cheep to insure, so a f-150 with a 6 might work.

I've had 2 1992 Rangers (2wd), one with a 4.0L V6 that actually was kinda quick, and the other with a 3.0L V6

They were both great trucks, I never had a single problem with either one of them, and I bet combined I put atleast 70-80k miles on them. Both were sold with almost 150k miles on them, and running like the day they were new.

I put that 3.0L one through absolute hell, and it just kept on goin

Dang dude!! I was about to email you about this blower.. oh well.. Trucks are cool too, let me see you load a keg in the back of a mustang;). The straight six sounds like a good idea, only one head to replace:D. I've only heard good things about the 300. A little mazda truck would probably be better on gas and insurance though.

Get an early 80's ranger and do the V8 swap in a couple of years. Also, have you seen the 5.0L Bronco II that comes to Mission sometimes? I think that'd be sweet too, it's on my "To do" list ;)

I think you should look at a Toyota Tacoma, I know its not American, but Toyota trucks are built really well. Normally I'd say Chevy, but the IFS on Chevy trucks is really sub-par. Any Chevy Truck 88 or newer will have IFS, and any suv thats 91 or newer will have it. I like the 73-87 style Chevy trucks, but I don't know if you're into that sort of truck.

yes, i am under 18, and we talked with the cop more, and he sounds nice eanough that he is going to look into making the charge not a criminal offence, maby just undo care and attention.

BowTie Eater 5 Liter: What exactly happened to you? I have had some very complicated legal issues involving my Mustang. Maybe I can offer you some advice.

As for the next set of wheels, get a 4 cylinder mustang in great shape (10,000 miles) for like $500 hundred bucks (some eldery person that never drives it is a good place to get one). Then swap in a 5.0 possibly from a wrecked 5.0. That way you can register it as a 4 cylinder and pay VERY cheap insurance.

Get a Ford V-8 pickup....so you can tow some toys around....:D

Well, when i was young and dumb and full of cum, and was having problems keeping a car in one piece or on the road at all, I opted for a bicycle. Extremely cheap and reliable. But i lived on an Air Force Base, so I could ride my bike to work in 15 minutes. You might not have that option. But if you can get away without a car at all, even for just one year, go for it.

If you're going to buy something just for transportation and cheap cost, just buy the cheapest, decent looking/running POS you can and drive it into the ground (by that i mean take care of safety issues, but don't throw any real money at it). It really doesn't matter what kind of car you get if it's under $1000 and gets good gas mileage. There are lots of cars out there that are "uncool" but would do exactly what you're asking. Alot of cars are overpriced, but you can sometimes find a screaming deal on something someone just needs/wants to get rid of regardless of the brand. If you go for a certain make and model you'll end up probably paying a little more unless you find someone who really wants to dump their car off.

I've improved my driving record enough to afford driving a GT, and it's taken me a few years, but insurance is only going to go down now that i have some driving experience (to keep me out of wrecks....that i would've caused) and have stuck with 1 insurance company for 2 years.

Or if you're looking for something you like in a car, save up a little bit and then buy something you may want to drive for awhile. Mustangs aren't going to suddenly dissappear, there'll be one waiting when you're ready.
