RPM's hangin

I have been having troubles with my TPS. After many posts and awhile under the hood I finally got my TPS adjusted to where it needs to be. It is set at .97 with the motor warmed up..KOEO.
Well, now everytime I shift it seems like the rpms hang longer than they are supposed to and decrease slower. Any ideas. Its not like its sticking up there....the RPMs come down but just more gradually. Making any sense?:) Any ideas?

Sometimes the throttle blade inside the throttle body can get hung up if the tb is not cleaned regularly. Check that the blade can move freely and that it isn't sticking.
