t5 what kind of fluid

I know it takes automatic transmission fluid but what type does ford recommend and about how much does it take? Sorry for an easy to look up question but I cant find my manuals so if someone could just look it up for me it would be a big help.

About 5.5 pints of Dexron II.

Or you could put some GM Synchromesh in. That's what I use, and I love it. You can actually feel the difference. Maybe it's just in my head, but I think I can feel it.

I used about 2.5 quarts of Castro Fully Synthetic ATF. Just fill it til it comes out the overflow hole and then you have enough in there.
