Cool. Now that I have your attention, I have something to show you. You mentioned your ol lady talking about coming out here after seeing a surfing picture. Well, I skimmed the top of my picture box, and grabbed 4 beach pics from the last few years. These aren't surf pics, or for that matter, anything fancy. They're kinda cool, though, and I wanted you to check them out, and show them to your woman, too. Maybe this week I'll go get some surf pics. Anyway, I took this first one a year ago, about a mile north of where I live, at the beginning of Rincon Highway. That's Anacapa Island way out in the middle.

I took this next one at Pismo Beach at low tide, a few years ago.

I took this one several years ago up in Big Sur, a few hours north of me. That's my ex, Debbie, sitting on that cement support, a good 70 feet over the beach!

This last one sucks no matter how many times I scan it, but it looks cool in person. It's from a Polaroid I took at the Ventura Marina at sunset, 5 or 6 years ago. That dark line that seems to be floating in the middle is Anacapa Island again.

Nice pics though, I gotta go on a holiday soon, I need to sit on the beach and just relax. Damn car drains all my money though. Ohh... well I'll have to see how it goes. :D Real nice pictures though....

I just got home and opened the frig and I had 11 beers in there!!! Can you believe that?!?! Free beer?!? Anyhow, cool pics bro. The girl just got a look at them with me and I like the scenary here but I really got to see some sites, something different. Those pics are cool. Where the mtns meet the ocean would be a great site to see.

Here is one of the pics from Sunday morning, it was real cloudy. We missed the sunrise by a few minutes but we couldn't have seen it anyhow, too cloudy. This one is one of my favorites from the ones I took.

We stopped at a marina that I once delivered to and I took a few shots. This was on the way back. To the right you can see the north end of Carolina Bch(Pleasure Island), you can see the trucks(mostly people camping out). To the left you see a real big sandbar or very small island that you have to have a boat to get to, you can camp out there too. This was at about 7am.

Nature really is something else sometimes, isn't it? Those were cool! I have to go spend an afternoon taking pics around here. This really is one of the most photogenic places I've everr been. I'll show you what I mean when you come out. ;)

Odd ball pic I thought I'd throw in, this is why you must have a 4x4 to get out on the ever exclusive north end. Exclusive to the folks that can get out there.. I once pulled a vw bug off the south end of the island.

Absolutely bro! Nature really is awesome if you stop and take a look at it. Art, absolute art in motion. There are days when I just watch everything around me that I usually don't even notice. It won't be this year but come January its a whole new year. I get another week this year too(15 years!).

Ok, I have spring break planned out.. only thing I need to do is the reservations. You up for this one?? Getting away from the girl is hard to do, but can be done:D.

you call those waves , bwahahaha, go to the north shore of ohua-sp well where pearl harbor, & honolulu are, then ,you will see some REAL waves, lol, the only bigger waves are in australia. :rolleyes: :D :D :p

Nature rules. I just got my Philmont pictures back so ill get around to scanning and posting them soon. Im not the greatest photographer but they turned out awesome!
