67 Power Steering

I am replacing the control valve, power unit, and pump in our '67 stang and am having difficulty.

It seems as though there should be a protective boot on the power unit. I also did not seem to get all the parts for the job since it seems as thought there should be a metal washer on both sides of the frame mount.

The instructions talk about o-rings at the hose connections, but they look like flare fittings. Are there supposed to be o-rings?

Any help would be appreciated.
