Valve cover and pedal

I have two questions, 1. I need to replace my valve cover gaskets now what has to be removed in order to get them out such as the intake or any other parts or do they just slide out and 2. My gas pedal broke all I have is the metal bar is that a dealer part or is there anywhere else I can get it?

Thanks

You will need to remove the upper intake to install the new gaskets. Make sure that you do not overtighten the bolts after the new ones are installed. The rubber gaskets with metal sleeves are my preference.

Check the salvage yards for a new pedal or get some pedal covers at any auto parts store. They may even have a replacement pedal. I would just leave the broken pedal cover laying on the floorboard and then drive like a banshee. When you get pulled over act like you are happy to be alive. Tell the officer that your pedal broke and it caused the pedal to stick to the carpet. :D

Damn dog, that's good! I never thought of that.

:)
