T-5 Mount

I suspect I need a new trans mount in my 92GT and I don't have access to a lift. Anyone ever replace the mount with the car just on jack stands? What's best, OEM, urethane or solid for a daily driver with a King Cobra clutch, aluminum drive shaft & 3:55's?

You can do it in the driveway with no problem, just jack the car up really high so it is easier to get under it. Then put a jack stand under the tranny to hold it, you will need to remove the H-pipe as it is in your way and attached to the hanger bracket which attaches to the trans. Get the urethance mount it is much better and stronger and will last.
