Need advice on throwout bearing

I have been driving my car around for a day or so after I just replaced my clutch with a centerforce dual friction. The clutch pedal is very stiff, much stiffer then I thought it would be. It also feels like it is binding and sticking for a moment. It feels like the throwout bearing is binding. It came pre-lubed and the package said not to add anymore lube. I did not put anything on the bearing retainer, should I have? Can I put some grease on the retainer without removing the tranny agian?

If you can fit your hand in there you can grease the shaft maybe, but yes, I took some of the grease that cam on it and lubbed the inside of it some more. I have had brand new throwout bearings be bad too., good luck

Can I use the spray on "white lithium grease", or should I use thick gear lube? I am going to take a look tomorow.
