rpm surge

while driving normally, as soon as the clutch is depressed the rpm surges up 100 rpm's before dropping. Throttle position sensor? i bought a new one but it had to be modified to fit(bevel the holes out) so it could be turned. Stock holes made my car idle at 2500. i returned it and put the old one back on. any suugestions. thanx

My car also did this. I can't remember if it does it now or not. I have changed my MAF, TPS, and IAT. I only drive my car on the weekends now that I have my 2002 F150.
