Well, the Marine Corps decided that there aren't enough recruiters on the street and decided to send me in January to San Diego for the school.

joy...

One of the benifits from being a recruiter is an extra $375 per month (jumping to $450 Oct 2003)

3 years x 450=A Beast of a car..(I dont plan on spending all of that on it but at least 70%!)

Sooooooo....what are you guys doing with your life? ;)

That all sounds nice. Too bad I just started school again, so it is Ramen noodles and no upgrades for the Stang. Oh, well....lots of good times here :D!

Most of my money will be spent now on going out and just maintaining the bike and car. Actually, my stupid starter is staying engaged on the car again. I thought I had it fixed, but didn't, so I am taking it to a guy next week. I am sure that will be cheap:rolleyes: .

I'm too old and fat for the Marines, but I think it is odd that the armed forces are kicking up their recruitment efforts even though recruitment is at an all time high. Hmmmmm......IRAQ........

Sounds great, ED!:) I can't seem to remember what you drive, right off hand(remind me please). Just an idea, that money would put a good dent in a new Cobra or Mach payment and forget the mods:D.

Hethj7, have you checked the solenoid? I had that problem. You could tap on the solenoid(mounted on the fender, behind the battery) and it would stop.. didn't cost too much either. Easy fix.
