Which tranny?
 

Ive been going nuts at all the possibilities since i work at a place at which i can get deals on all this stuff. But one thing i know im going to need is a new tranny. Im just waiting for this 4cyl T-5 to kick the bucket, but i must say im suprised that its holding up this well. Ive been thinking about a new tranny and want to know whats a good one to go with. Is it worth it to go to the T-56? Should i just get a plain tremec 5 speed? What good tranny's are out there for the weekend warrior mustang? As always i value any input you guys have.

TKO and be done with it

If you're thinking about spending the $$$ for a T56, you might consider a TKO-II. Stronger than the standard TKO but a lot less $$$ than the T56. I think they're around $1800 new. Check this site out for some more advice:

Call Bob up and see what he has to say. He's switched to a G-force in his racecar but I think he's still the king of tremecs.
