?04Cobra?
 

ive had a couple of people in the last few days come up to me and tell me that the 2004 Cobra is going to have over 400hp. now is this true or are they getting mixed up with the 03 and its 390hp?

I've heard nothing about the 2004 model year, except that the new S197 chasis will not be available unitl mid year as a 2004 1/2 model or 2005 model.

I don't know, but I hope it's over 400hp.:D

Ford may succum to the hp numbers game and accuratly rate the 04 snake. I hope they do not, as its fun to have cars rated conservativly.

It's widely accepted now that the 03 makes over 400 at the crank, so they could do nothing and bump the base number if they feel like it.

But they are probably confused with the 05, when the 4.6 gets bumped to a 5.0, with well over 400bhp.
