A couple days ago I heard something on talk radio here in C-Bus about an article that was comparing the feelings of the country on Pearl Harbor and 9/11/2001. The thing that really stuck with me is how after Pearl Harbor, the country felt an enormous need to REPSOND. Not that folks didn't feel this to some extent right after 9/11, but it seems more like all we do is talk about the victims and their families. Please don't take this the wrong way here, I too feel very bad for all the people that lost their lives that day and the families that were so directly affected.

I guess I'm still angry that we didn't get to see a bunch of Marines pull that sorry SOB out of some cave and then kill the bastard on National TV! At the very least it would be some sort of closure for our Nation. Maybe in this war against terror we'll never get that. At least with the Japanese, we brought them to their freakin' knees quicker than flies on crap. That was closure.

I guess what I'm saying is that we need to RESPOND with action. This whole Iraqi crap is peeing me off too! The rest of the world just wants to sit around and let Saddam cook up a bunch of never gases, nukes, and rule with a dictatorship until the day comes when he attacks some other country and WE have go in with OUR men and women to clean up the mess. I'm sick of this crap.

But for now, it looks like the 'rest of the world' (read: France, the entire Middle East, the and UN to some extent) thinks we're some big bully trying to start trouble.

Did anyone ever think that maybe we are trying to prevent another 9/11...

Sorry for the rant.

God Bless America.

GO USA! I'd say Go Canada but our 7 soldiers are busy doing some peace keeping mission or something:o

Anyway, Yes it's here, I can't believe a year has gone by already. I hope the next 365 days are a little different. I hope the terrorists in this world here the message loud and clear, don't mess with the Western World, 'cause we're going to nuke your a**!

Even though I'm not a religous man, I still pray for those who have to deal with the aftermath of the attacks, especially the children :(.

95mustanggt - I'll say GO USA! and GO CANADA! (even if there are only 7 on them out on peace missions! :D )

BTW - I just noticed your avitar - very nice.

Thanks.

Living in Dallas for a year and meeting people like Adam (Hammer) really helped me understand and love the US. I think it is a great country with many great people. Not too mention those camel jockeys tend to hate ALL Western cultures, not just "Americans". It is my duty as a Canadian to stand shoulder to shoulder with my neighbors and help fight these terrorist bastards.

EXACTLY!

Fox news was talking with a media polling agency who looked at the major media's coverage of the Iraq situation. ABC had negative things to say about bush and the US attacking Iraq 80% of the time they talked about the subject. NBC was at 76%, and CBS was at 56%. Why is the major media not telling both sides of the Iraq issue fairly? I don't mean to bring politics into this, but I think some of why they report this way is because they do have a liberal bias.

It just ticks me off, because it almost makes us look like we are not united in fighting terror and getting Saddam, which is far from the truth. It also makes Bush look like some war monger who just wants to pick a fight. Its all very frustrating. This nation is being over run by politically correct wusses that are letting sensitivity to others cloud the common sense thing to do.

When you are attacked, you must defend yourself. You cannot just lie on your back or the enemy will know that there is no repercussions to their actions and they are free to do whatever they want to again. Bottom line is........We need to kick their ARSE! I don't want to see American lives lost any more than anybody else, but to do nothing will not only cost more lives in the longrun, but is a disgrace to all of the great Americans who have served and given us the ultimate sacrifice. They need to know that they are not forgotten and the generations to come will do whatever it takes to protect FREEDOM and Liberty for America.

God bless the U S A !!!!

My heart and prayers go out to all that was involed in 9-11. A day we will never forget.

GOD BLESS AMERICA

Odie:(

Mustangbelle306 09-11-2002 10:27 AM

That's the worst part about having an upper class dirty liberal media...

a.) They always defend the hoodlums/terrorists that they NEVER have to deal with inside their suburbia homes with ADT alarm systems

b.) They do NOT represent the majority of the American public when they spew their BS rhetoric

God Bless The U S A

Your so right "MTU 50" agreed on your points. I'd like to add one more.

I'd like to see some Special Forces playing kick ball with you no who's head.

"LETS ROLL"

6T9PONY 09-11-2002 06:47 PM

I personally thought that the USA's special forces would have killed or at least captured Osama by now, and it kind of ticks me off they haven't. We need to get that guy. I'm real big on the saying "An eye for an eye." I don't put up with anyone pulling something on me without them getting something equal or worse back. Revenge is oh, so sweet.
