Whats the size of the standard battery??

Hi all,

My battery is dead!! What's the size (dimension in cm and Ah or amp) of the standard battery in my 88GT. I could of course check in my car myself but the problem is that the car is 500km away from me, and I have to pick it up this weekend. So which battery should I bring with me ??

Thanks, Matte Sweden

Battery

If you go to any battery shop they will look up the right one for your car. However, I put the largest I could find, 1000 cold cranking amp and it fit the tray. Have to be carefull of the height due to hood clearance is all.

battery

The highest cranking amp is the capacity of the battery to crank a cold engine. I think my stock battery was 650-700. With a high compression 351, had to go to a 1000.
