Powerdyne Supercharger for 87 GT without AC question

Anybody out there run a Powerdyne? I don't have AC on my car and was told by powerdyne I had to buy a pulley and bracket from ford to put where the AC would be so the supercharger would work. Could you just get a shorter belt? Anyone out there have expirience with the Powerdyne on a non-Air conditioned stang.

A shorter belt won't work. Powerdyne places the belt tensioner on their blower bracket. Without the air conditioner pulley the belt won't tension properly, if at all.

I'll see if I can get a pic of mine to you. I still have the air, but I've had the belts off and on enough to know.
