Drag radials, how big can we go?

I'm changing up my suspension a little. Going with Eibach drag springs, 70/30's, 50/50's, Convo-Pro 3 1/2", and 8 1/2" wheels on a '90 model. How big can I go with drag radials. Should it be BFG's or Nitto's?

The 275/60 bfg's will fit on your car. Are you trying not to cut anything meaning fender wells? You going to try and run in the 10's on radials? If so hope you make it I'm going to try the same thing.

Haben't had much experience with the Nitto's but I have the 275 drag radials and love them, they've lasted a long time too, i am suprised, i am going on 9 months now, with a lot of street use on them. Had to roll the fenders and use spacers though. Good luck

what can you hope for in a sixty foot on radials? Whats the baest anyone has heard of? are 1.6's possible?

Thanks for the replies. No, I do not wish to roll, cut, or bend anything on the car. We do a lot of car shows with it, hate to mess it up! Right now, the car is set up with Saleen style suspenion, running 1.68's 60 ft. Got the car running 11.49 @ 122.4 mph. Blew the head gaskets on that pass!:D Have since gone in and O-ringed the heads, haven't run it yet, though. I don't guess that 1.68's are too bad with the type of suspension that I'm using. Oh yeah, that's on M/T E.T. streets, 26 x 10's. I do believe that if I can get my 60 ft down a little, that would put me in the high 10's or 11.0's.

Thursday I put the best tire I have ever found. A Hoosier 27.5 x 8 x 15. chain link pattern. Soft, bite good, no rubbing "PERFECT" now all I have to do is fix my torque boxes and I can report a 60ft to ya.
