shifter upgrade for aod??
 

Has anyone installed the B&M Megashifter for an AOD tranny? I saw one today at the autoparts store and it looks like it would look pretty darn good in a stang. Anyone used this shifter and have any recommendataions? How hard is it to install? Any major modifcations have to be done to the car to get it in? It looks like it would look pretty cool but i dont wanna tear the hell out of my interior just to get a AOD shifter in.

I'm don't know about the B&M Megashifter. I think it looks kinda cheap and overly big for the console. I have the B&M Hammer shifter and really like the way it looks and operates.

Get the B&M hammer. It is custom fit for the mustang console, and it is a lot newer and nicer than the mega shifter of years past.

just make sure you get the stang specific hammer, they also have a "generic, fit all" model
