93 starter is great
 

I had starter problems with headers being close to starter, so I replaced the starter with 90 starter, same problem. Returned that one and bought 93 unit, it is smaller, lighter, & more power. There is some minor wiring changes, but even I did it. Since then, no problems, works great.

I agree...I did this modification several years ago and it solved a couple of problems for me. It gave me more header clearance for the long tubes, and the increased space prevented the starter from over heating. Great mod!
