Help Me Get To Guatamala!!!

Hi everyone! This is soooo exciting! I have the chance to go to Guatamala this Christmas break to help a community set up a fitness center! HOW COOL! :D I am going with my local chapter of Phi Theta Kappa and we're going to have a BLAST!

One Problem...

Our chapter needs to raise $600 dollars per person to go! :(

IF anyone would be interested in helping this Little Red Pony and her friends in getting down there for the chance of a life time PLEASE let me know!!!

P.S. - This is a non-profit organization so you might be able to claim it on your tax return! ;)

Sorry I can't help money wise but I thought it was pretty cool where you're going. I was just there in August on a medical mission trip. Spent a week over there and saw around 900 patients in 4 days. It was a lot of work but it was great. Hope everything works out for you. You'll have a great time.

Let me get this straight. You want someone to give you money so you can help some people in Guatamala to have a fitness center?

Jodi, i dont care how beautiful it is down there, i highly recommend not going there! Besides, the economy is mostly bananas and coffee and over 50% of the people are in poverty. If it is just for the tourist area, probably would be ok. To me, it sounds like a scam or a bad investment, but if it is in a tourist resort, then maybe. BE CAREFUL!
