Last Track Visit for the Saleen...
 

Well I dunno if you guys wanna setup one time to goto Carlsbad here soon. My Saleen needs one last track visit for a crack at 11's on motor and low 11's on nitrous.

Im cutting out the cage, the drag suspension and race seats are going out. Full Interior is going back and the nitrous is gettin yanked. I'll find a cheaper lx for the drag parts later, but I want my car enjoyable to drive again.

I'm still having issues with my car, so I don't know if I could bring my it, but let me know how long it'll be til' you yank your performance parts. I'll try getting my car going again this weekend, so hopefully I'll be ready to go to C-bad again, soon. Later, Keith.

Yeah, I agree. At some point one is forced to choose between the track or the street. I can see where you are coming from Sky.

I've gotta agree with Sky. The last time I saw his Saleen was before the nitrous or the cage, and it's a beautiful Saleen! I would have had a very hard time building a race car out of it simply because it's such a nice cruiser.

I will be down to go there, lets just set a date and go with it. The turn out on the 14th was not all that great. I was expecting to get to meet a lot of people a some good races. I can't really talk since my car wasn't there. Kamaro Killer- Do you think that you will have your car running then? What kind of issues are you having with it?

No, I doubt I'll be taking my car. I finally came to the realization (with Chris's help) that it's not a timing issue anymore. I'm not getting any spark, so this weekend I'll be trying to figure out where I'm losing the spark. It's not my dist. cap or roter, so I really couldn't tell you wheter I'll be taking my stang. I'd LOVE to say that I'll be taking my car, but I doubt it'll happen. Who knows, maybe she'll start up this weekend, so I could start breaking my new engine in. I'll update you guys as I get more info. Either way I have this mean 4 cyl tacoma :rolleyes: :rolleyes: that'll put a whooping to you guys, lol. Well, at least I'll get across the dirt faster at C-bad. Take care, Keith

the 26th also. I'll be in Vegas from the 25th til the 28th, so whenever else you guys want to go, just PM me. I don't know if I'll be able to bring the stang, but I'll try. I think we've (Chris & I) narrowed my problem down to the coil, so hopefully I could just replace it and be done with my car for awile. Take care, Keith
