Carlsbad raceway on Saturday anyone?
 
This is not a flame or war. There is a couple guys on here that are local to this track. Just letting them know I'm heading out for some fun on Saturday :cool:

I'm taking my car out, first time in like 3 months to the track. I said I wasn't going to go until my buddy got his 64 falcon running again.

If your a Ford nut you have to see this car. Little 289 with a cam and an edlebrock top end. First time out on his new slicks and skinnies. Watch this 289 do high 12's in the quarter. No really, I guarantee it! It has no exhaust and its gutted but its still cool. Just a 289 :eek:

I phucking hate my job. I have to work tomorrow. I thought I went to college so I wouldn't have to put up with this working on the weekends bullshit anymore.

Had a great time. It was cool out with no sun all day. The little Falcon ran good. His best was 12.71 @ 107.50. I think it will get better with some tuning and him getting use to his new slicks.

There was a Nissan Skyline there running 12 flat on street tires (all wheel drive).

New best for me off the bottle. 12.62 @ 109.46. I still lost to the Falcon 2 out of 3.

I think we are goin again on the 26th.

Next time your at the track and a flight of mustangs go by you, you'll know its me and the boys...

It'll be November before I get back down there, but I'm going with a friend who just bought a WRX wagon. He wants to run, and I figure it will be close since he doesn't have the ballsac to drop his clutch up in the 5k+ range.

That and if he did, C-bad is so bad he'll spin anyway.:D
