Help with clutch choice
 

Ok my car goes into the shop later this week and I need to order a clutch tommarow now Ive broken it down to the Center force dual friction, Spec 2 and king cobra now I'm planning on doin all the major bolts on and using my car for a daily driver and only goto the track maybe once a month or less so I need something thats gonna hold up and hopefully not run me to much I wanna stay under $350 if possible, please I need some suggestions.

I have the motorsport HD clutch and love it. I've been beating the hell out of it for a year and a half now, hard launches on slicks, and plenty of holeshots on the street, and it has yet to give me any fits. It's still holding strong, and it was under $200 for the kit from D&D

If you don't plan on seriously racing your car, you don't need an expensive clutch like the ones you list. But if you insist between the two, then I'd reccomend the Spec

I love my king cobra, has enough grip to lock solid when you bang second during a good clip, it'll snap your head back, and that's with a stock motor! Pedal effort is excellent and they're the right price. If I had more motor maybe I'd be able to tell you how it holds up, but I don't. It does feel like it can handle alot more than the stock motor, though. I thnk it will last a long time, but it sure does take forever to break in when you do it right. I drove about 200 easier than Grandpa miles, then about 300 normal sane person driving, then I unleashed it and WOW, big difference over stock. It helped me understand how much HP I was losing to clutch slippage before I put it in.

I just put in the Ford Motorsports HD clutch, $160 from jeg's. It grabs hard and the pedal isn't that stiff. I'd say it's definitely the best for the price.

Well I went with the king cobra clutch, BBK adjustable quadrant and steel bearing retainer all came out to about $350 shipped, thanks for the suggestions.

Sounds like a good setup. Let me know how you like the BBK adjustable quadrant.
