AFR 185's = 347 Stroker
Is anyone using this combo? The info on AFR's site says that they are for 351's. The displacement isnt that much different. Will they work well?

I think they'd work very well...better than a pair of 165s just so long as you have a cam and intake setup that will allow you to flow the air and fuel required to make those heads scream. And remember, stroker engines are much more forgiving of cams than smaller engines. Don't be afraid to pick one that would seem big for a 302.

Well, currently I have 514 lift with 224 duration. Its a little much for my stock heads. It would probably feed my stroker but I was going to go bigger, what do you think?

in a couple of weeks i can tell you how they work on a 10.5:1 306. I bought the stage 2 185s, my cam lift is 612 though

The wesbite said not to go over 5.50 lift. Maybe Im wrong but I wouldt want you to screw your motor up. Better check your clearance well. I called them and they said that they would work extremely well on a 347.
