i got in a highway race a few week's back, the guy started following me, oh yeah i stomped his 85 cutlass, heheh, anyway, i turn off to lose him, he followed me, we ended up bs, ing, he wanted me to look at his daughters stang- 97 vert v-6, wrecked , igot him a good deal on both fender's bumper cover, for 273.00, new, well tonight after work, he wanted me to stop by his house & look at the head light bucket's ? , i pull up, no one comes out, wtf, i even knocked on the door, turned out to be a waste of my time. im p.o.ed , am i wrong?.:rolleyes: :confused:

It all depends.
Was he home and just ignoring you ?
OR
maybe he had to leave and thought he'd be back by the time you got there
OR
many other things could have happened.
You never know, maybe an emergency came up.

that sucks......... did you get his phone number? Look at it this way...you WENT OUT OF YOUR WAY TO HELP HIM.... (thankfully there are STILL good people in this world!) You could try stopping by one more time, but after that, I would not waste my time or energy. Unfortunately, there are alot of people in this world as well who are full of it.... you did your good deed...i'd try maybe once more then blow it off...(unless it cost you $$$). Then i'd be banging on his door.........

i have his # and have went out of my way to hook him up, he was dead set on me being there tonight before i added the head light bucket's? we were going to compare mine with what he had, geez i wasted 30 min's. & gas for nothing, plus i was gonna give him , my oem gt muffler's for nothing for his - lil girl's car, oh well i guess, he will have to call me now. sorry for the rant, after all im an old bastard & the prez . lol. :D :D :D

I still always help people when ever I can...
the other day I went to go play Proline (lottery) and some old lady came upto me and wanted me to help her, she had locked her keys in her car, luckily she had left her window open abit so I went to get a coat hanger from the dry-cleaners and was able to get it out for her. :D She was pretty happy for that... =)

There are some nice guys out there:) I helped a guy I meet 2 times I drove 50 Miles to a parking lot and put a new clutch in it in the, he could not move it. He got a new Clutch but did not have any tools toi get it done I toss alot of crap in the truck Lights, Compressor, Genarator.... You cant belive all the ood looks we got from people walking by with the 1000Watts lights Compressor and it was raining when we were finshing it up. Working on in a parking lot...
