Exhaust Upgrade

I'm trying to find the meanest sounding mufflers to go on a stang?
I'm running a off road H-pipe and kinda looking for something loud with out going just strait pipe's. Any ideas would really help.

flowmaster 2 chambers seem to be the most popular
with an off road pipe they would sound pretty mean

if you want to spend a little more, borla makes some decent stuff

I like dynomax but I think my super turbo's would be too quiet for ya, maybe some ultra flo's, they are a straight thru design and are a little louder

best thing to do is to actually listen to other stangs and see what you like best

I like my Dynomax's with my O/R H-pipe too. They sound really mean, but not real loud. I like it that way, not offensive, just aggresive.

Borla or MAC.

I have the Magnaflow Cat back with an off road H and I love it. It is so loud. The mufflers are a straight through design with 3.5" tips. It is mean and if it is sound you want, you can get it there.
Just my .02

if you want earth shattering, flowmaster 2 chamber

if you are willing to trade a little of that to stand out in the crowd with a great unique sound , go with the borla. you wont be disappointed.

I'd also look into spintech They sound very mean... Not incredibly loud at all when not on the gas... But at WOT they wake up and sound ******* mean.... download the vid or the coupe on the Dyno at thier site and you will see what I mean.

All your asking is in 5.0 mustang mag dec.02 issue starting on page 49.I've got mac with an off-road x pipe and was looking for more sound but after reading this article I'll stick with what I've got.It give's all the sound decible rating etc.
