Nothing in particular

I just wanted to write something, wasn't too sure what, but I figured I needed to post on here, so here goes.

How does life get so complicated? One day you're minding your own business, the next you're damn near 30. You start thinking about the things you've done and the places you've seen. It was just yesterday that I was playing in the yard with my little brother and our first dog, Lassie. What happened? How did I get here? I swear I was just 10 years old last week.

My little brother isn't so little anymore. He used to be nothing but snotty noses and boney knees. Now he's 6'4" 220lbs, and might be going back to Saudia Arabia.

I haven't seen my Mom in Lord knows how long. I miss waking up and hearing her in the kitchen, fixing breakfast. Now I'm the one that's in the kitchen fixing breakfast for my son.

Wait a minute, when did that happen?!?! Me?! You mean to tell me that the government is going to trust a child to my care??? I can't even seperate laundry right, and you want me to raise a child? Yeah right!!

You know, I can't stand country music, but Garth said it best when he wrote, "I'm much too young to feel this damn old."

Keep smiling, maybe they will go away.

Later.

i may not be near 30, but i know the feeling..i remember kindergarten and playing around with my brothers...now im in college, so is one of my other brothers, and the other is a junior in high school already ....time is just killing us...it boggles the mind...just have to try and make the most of it i guess..this is why i try to take life a little slow, so i can kinda get as much of it in as i can...course the car goes fast tho...hehe...its an exception ;)

Exactally !! You'd think Zepplin only made 2 songs and the Doors only made 1 ??? They play one or two songs from each group over and over and over   :( :o

Honestly there is a fair amount of it that i like, but there is also alot of it thats just dead to me ? It has no soul, no life ? Can't explain it, its a generation gap thing, you'll understand when you have more candles than cake like me lol :(

I understand exactly what you mean, and I'm only 24. Every once in a while, I'll mention something that happened to me when I was 16 or 17, and suddenly pause as i realize in horror that it took place 7 or 8 years ago!!
I remember the times when i couldn't remember anything from 8 years ago. It really does freak me out sometimes.
Oh, and I've started calling 17 and 18 year olds "dumb kids" a lot of the time, (just the stupid ones) and without thinking about. That really freaks me out, lol.

Time Flies.....

heheh...ya, I hear ya!
I just had my 20 YEAR REUNION this past weekend! IT was AWESOME! 20 years.....geeesh. It was cool. They brought us on the track during HalfTime at the Homecoming game Friday night, which we LOST  took our pic of the class...
EVERYONE looked GREAT! Was tied up w/ that from Last Wed. till Saturday night.

My baby will turn 10 in January, my dogs will turn 11...I'm pushing 40 now! (3 more years!) :)

Ya know what though, the last 2 1/2 years have been THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think for some the late 20's early 30's are still a time of 'finding yourself!' All I know is I would NOT want to go back....I'm looking very much forward to the future. Some times it just takes some of us a little longer to know where your going and where ya want to be...Enjoy these times..and DONT put off ANYTHING!

Never Dwell in the past, theres nothing you can do to change it anyways... I dont ever remember reminicsing and talking about the past as we did this past weekend....you should have seen all the pics there Saturday night at the party....It was TRULY a TRIP!

Id scan this cool pic I have and post it, but NOW my SCANNER is not working either! Now, if I could just figure out how to deal w/ my computer, all would be cool! :)
