Oil pressure question?
 
What should the average oil pressure be for 5.0 at idle and while driving? Mine idles at 50 in park and little over 40 in drive. While driving it is between 50 to 60 depending on RPM.

mine is about 30-35 at idle and 50-55 cruising along. how many miles on your engine??

Mine has about 98,000. My oil pressure seemed to increase with 1.7 roller rockers. I use 10w 30 synthetic oil.

Some roller rockers have restrictors in the oil holes so you get more oil flow down below where its needed most ... that could be what brought it up at idle.

mine sits at 60% on the stock gauge driving, and 50% at idle, i got 134K miles on mine, running 10-30 Castrol GTX.
