Cam question

I'm looking for a new cam. What kind of numbers should I be looking to get the most and not worry about valve to piston clearance? Lift? Duration? Any other important factors? I know very little about cams. Just a ballpark figure is all I'm looking for. Thanks in advance.

Stock,untouched heads?

If your heads are stock and untouched, stay with the stock cam.

It's pushed many of cars into the 12's N/A

Check out http://www.compcams.com.

Click on catalog, put in your info and it will show you every cam it builds for your engine. They probably have several hundred. Look them over, think about how you will use your car, and call the tech line.

They will help you chose a combination that works well, accomplishes your goals, and gives you the GRIN factor as you scoot down America's Highways.
