guys with Trans-go, how is it???

a friend of mine will soon be rebuiling his AOD and will be getting a shift kit with it, and i've heard that the transgo is a great one to go with, how do you guys like it? does it make it shift at a higher RPM? because shifting at 4500 isnt exactly the best for trying to go fast, i know it has the 3-4 shift at WOT which is what i'd like too, maybe he'll buy me one too http://www.mustangworks.com/msgboard/smile.gif thanks guys

Transgo is bada$$!! My friend and I both have them installed. He recently got his back, he has it on a hard setting and it slams into the next gear. It chirps second very hard. I reccomend Transgo all the way.

i burnt up my tranny and had it rebuilt with a transgo shift kit and it shifted very hard and quick. its very much worth the $$$ i loved the hard shifts until i burnt up the tranny again last week(damn aod) so i said good bye to the transgo and im having a 5 speed put in at this very moment

I have a Transgo and it is great. My only complaint is that it will shift into OD at WOT when the shifter is still in D. I called them and they know about it and have a fix. The new kits probably come with the fix already. I would buy it again if I went back. The only other kit I would get is the Baumann. They know their stuff about AOD's.

so does it really shift into OD at WOT? i hate the fact that i can't go over 110 or so without the pedal half way pushed, i would get toeasted after 110 if a lS1 wanted to go longer than about a quarter mile, maybe i should get one too if they do allow that
