Need advise on slicks
 
hey guys would slicks help me at all since i have 4.10's and under drive pullies or am i not pushing enough power for them to help me any?
thanks ahead of time for any help.

Heck ya slicks will help! 1st gear without slicks is useless. With slicks you can drop the clutch at 5500RPM and yank those front wheels off the ground. 26x10" MT ET drags will lop major time off your E.T. GET THEM!!!

If you decide to run slicks (which I highly recommend), definitely install a drive shaft safety loop. They're cheap, easy to install, required by NHRA rules, and just make good sense (safety).

What about Battle Boxes or some other reinforcement for the torque boxes? I hear with slicks you'll rip those things apart.
