Thiefs actually saved me money!
 

Well everyone,

It has come to light that the same thieves that broke into my Old Slow Boy to steal my purse, have actually saved me money.

Here is a fun story:

Cell Phone was stolen too. I had an Insurance Contract on it. After going into the Verizon Store to try to get help. I got the brush off by Mobile Phone Man. I was nice, but threated to walk. He finally bent over backwards (Yeah, right.) to help me and FINALLY, he rudly pointed at the in store phone and said "I guess you can call them from there".... (OOOOOO THANKS WAD!)

I finally got to use their "in store phone". The Verizon Wireless CSR was very nice and patched me through to insurance girl. Insurance Girl was very nice, but after 1 hour of claims processing and stock verification, she says. "O.K. Ms. White, now I'd like to remind you of your deductible and how then would you like to take care of this today?" I say "Bill my Verizon Wireless account please". "OOOO, we can't do that. Only commercial clients". I say "OK. I'm leaving then." "See Michelle, that would have been 1 more year on contract, at a minimum of $40.00/month, so If I terminate early with a $175.00 termination fee, you have actually saved me $345.00. Your loss." "I pay my bill every month, on time and you cannot afford me a business favor. I'm not feeling the love. I'd rather pay you the $175.00 and make a clean brake, then to give you the honor of my business". "Thank you and have a nice day". I hung up and called back Verizon and told them exactly the same thing. So, NOW THEY CAN BILL ME! :)

See how nice those thieves were? I'm so lucky to be blessed with such nice freaks!

VERIZON SUCKS!!

I've got Cingular and I like it pretty well. You should look into it, Jane. I've got one of the smaller plans (with me being in college).

Keep the bad word up! Get as many people away from them as possible. In the business world, bad news spreads faster than good news!

I was with Verizon, and never liked them. I've heard that Sprint has pretty killer deals going.

I have Sprint and I've got to say it sucks too! I hardly ever get clear reception and they continuesly over bill me. Just thought I'd throw in my .02 cents, later, Keith

I had sprint and they did suck, ditto what Keith says.

Cingular has awful customer service, and I also hear verizon sucks ***.

Now I have AT&T and have never had a problem, it's been a good ride with them... good luck!

LOL. I hate AT&T.

They've been trying to charge me $168 twice now since June. I paid close to $1000 in phone calls to Texas, but we're at a standstill over a disputed $168. In the mean time, they've frozen my long distance use. Bastards. I will win this one, though!

Work phone is Nextel and i don't like it ... the reception sucks. also the phone is a Motorola and i hate it too ... i have no idea about customer service cause its a work phone and i don't have to deal with them.

I have had nothing but trouble with my Verizon Wireless techs...The only bad thing is that Verizon is the only one with coverage in my area. As soon as another company starts covering I am switching...
