transmission? rebuilt or buy new one
 

I recently had my transmission rebuilt and i was wondering what everyone recomends. Should I have bought a new transmission or would you have done the same and had yours rebuilt. I have talked to a few people and some say ya some say no. What do yall think. I should be gettin my car back today or tomorrow. I havent tried it out yet.

Also, does shifting an automatic yourself when racing tear the transmission up? As in like throwing it down in first and then up to drive and back down to get second. and so forth.
