Best $170 spent ever!
I love my tri-ax. Put it in tonight, man what a difference. Only took it up to my shakedown spot, but WOW. Normally I get a little rubber in second up there, but I got some good slip. It was sweet.
So what, a shifter is good for about 10rwhp, right? I'm only kidding.:D I can tell its faster, hence more rubber, and I know when I get used to it, it might even be good for .05, maybe. Guess its time to hit the track again. If you have the means, I highly suggest picking one up. |
I know what you mean I put a Tri-ax in my 5.0 last year and I knocked off almost 2 tenths in the 1/4. I love the way it clicks into gear.
congrats, |
Tri-ax... that steeda? Or just a brand name?
Is it hard to install? |

It has very firm shifts and clicks into gear with authority, not to mention the spring loaded 2nd to 3rd gear shift. It is quite choice, |
Yeah, what Dark said. Really, that much? Man I've got to get back down to the track.
RH-I took pictures of every step, since I wanted to have it documented, incase I need to do a swap back for some reason. If you decide to go with one, let me know and I'll send you a zip of the pics, as an aide to the instructions they provide. (the instructions are decent anyway) |
I've got a tri-ax on my car too, I didn't take any pictures of the install though. Deuce, do you think you can email me those pictures so that I can put them on my website, in the how to section, I'll be sure to give you credit.
mlambrecht@kermantel.net Thanks a lot. |
That's a great idea, I'll have to take you up on that offer when I get some free time to do it. Thanks a lot!:D
