Fake fake fake
PhotoShop job - and an internet hoax that's been going around for some time, now. Don't buy into this obvious fake.
|
Well, I hadn't known that. It was the first time I'd seen those images. Besides, I kinda figured they were fakes.
Daniel. |
Wow, Jim. I haven't seen you around in a while.
Good to see ya. --nathan |

Hey! Nice to see you on the board guy,how ya been? |
Welcome back Jim. i hope you chose to frequent the boards more often like old times :)

Just visiting
Gee, thanks, guys. I do lurk here as time permits and the forums seem to doing just fine with or without my input but I'll be posting occasionally, especially on the political topics that engage me. Keep an eye out if you're interested.
As for the Bush binocular photos; not only is that one a fake but a photo of Bill Clinton doing the same thing (peering thru capped binoculars) appeared on the internet years ago so this fake photo of President Bush is probably just giving the 'other side' equal ribbing. Unfortunately, the bulk of the link is just rabid anti-Bush trash; juvenile and rather lame attempts to ridicule our President with unflattering photos. This serves no real purpose that I can see but apparently amuses the less sophisticated. That's democracy. That we can do this kind of thing (post unflattering photos that make our president look foolish) unconcerned about any possible consequences, is what I love about America, even if I find the photos on the link a very cheap shot at a very good president. |
Hey it's MR. 5 0!! I hope everything is going well! You need to post a little more often!
|
well well!

This only diminshes the anti-Bush folks and undercuts their credibility but they are usually too busy 'PhotoShopping' pictures on the 'net to notice and probably still think Gore won. Petty nonsense but part of the larger political game that even the unsophisticated can play, for whatever good it does them. Bush will survive and prosper politically, with a huge win in 2004. Remember, you saw it here, first. |
I hate politics...

Not to jump on the political band wagon but I am a Democrat and proud of it. I am not unrepentant as Mr. 5.0 put it. To tell you the truth I don't think he has done that much for our country. Our economy has gone staight to hell and unemployment is up drastically. IMO if you are a minority, a woman, or a lower to middle class person and you are a Republican you are an uneducated idiot. This president of ours doesn't seem to care one bit about the nation's workforce. I'm a union member and the next thing that I and all other union members are concerned about is the fact that Bush wants to get rid of prevailing wages. Now that may not concern most of you but if you're career is in constuction then it should. For those of you who don't know the prevailing wage tis the wage set by union negotiations. And for those of you who don't think we need unions any more you just wait and see what happens to wages, benefits, and working hours. If you like the fact that the standard working week is 40 hours then thank the unions for that, because if the republicans had they're way we'd all be working 60 hours a week for $5 an hour. Sorry had to rant. My mom is disabled and you don't even want me to start on what this joke of a president has done for the disabled community.

*Josh makes popcorn, waits for Jim to reply*

Hey Josh gimme some of that popcorn :D
All im gonna see Nick is that your an idiot. The economy was on its way down as Clinton was leaving office. If youve evef studied economics you would know that economies to all of a sudden fall to the floor when a new President is elected. but im gonna let Jim school you because he knows alot more than I. :) |
