OK every thing is done ready to be put in and get this beast going. went to put my cross memeber in and it wont line up with the tranny mount.. it is a c-4 and the cross memeber is one from a 93 lx. Any ideas as to why or what i might have to do to get a c-4 to work in my 84? thanks in advance

THe crossmember is spot welded to the outer mount bushing cylinders. Carefully grind away the welds and you can slide the crossmember on the mounts enough to line it up. A couple of new spotwelds and you're in business. I did it with a C-6 behind a 351 cleveland and it's held up fine for more than two years of abuse by my 17 year old
