Some, but I am familiar with alot of the wiring. What specifically do you need?

bensmustang 11-28-2002 11:33 AM

well... to know where the wires go on the dimmer switch.

thanks,
ben

There are 12 wires going 15 directions. What are you trying to do? I'm not trying to pry, but I am limited in what I have available, but I can write out specific circuits, if I know what you are going for.

well everything is working except the tail lights...so i'm trying to figure out if i have the wrong wire...and where ...on the switch does the wire connect

Okay, see, that makes a huge difference. The taillights are powered through the headlight switch, not the dimmer switch. The wire that goes to the parking lights from the switch is the brown one. Does your license plate light work? Do your brake lights work?

bensmustang 11-28-2002 12:20 PM

Hold on..i'm a bit confused ...the headlight switch is what i guess i was refering to...But yes Brake lights work and no license plate light does not

PKRWUD 11-28-2002 12:26 PM

What about the parking lights in front? What about the gear indicator light?

bensmustang 11-28-2002 12:40 PM

the yellow parking lights in front work...the white gear indicator light works too

Then your switch is fine. The grounds to the rear lights are good. There is a break in the brown wire that goes to the back. Pull your door jamb plate, and check the harness that runs below it. Look for the brown wire, and check it with a test lamp with the light switch on. Keep moving back until you no longer have power to the brown wire, and you will have found the break in the wire. Repair this, and you will have power to your taillights.

Take care,
~Chris
