help oil press.
 

saturday i was highway racing and all seemed fine exept for the exhaust leak but then sunday and yesterday and today the oil press opens at 20 stays at 20 psi even when i gas it it maybe rises like 5 psi but then speedily drops back to 20 psi
the motor runs fine still no problems but i checked the dipstick and the oil is still very clear and seems to be full
???????????????????so could this spell disaster or a faulty guage

First thing to find out is if the gauge is electric or mechanical. If it is electric it could be the sending unit.

Pull the sender and attach a mechanical gauge. Then you know where you are.

i checked the "wire" from the block to the gauge and it seems fine no leaks and its no bent any ....
