I don't need another reason, but thanks anyway. Anyone happen to check out the link to the 66 Chevelle at the bottom of the page? Now THAT is my idea of a killer ride!

Take care,

Being drunk can help your body survive in a bad accident. Since your relaxed and limp, you tend to not break things like you normally would.

I hate to say it, but I am speaking from personnel experience.

Mach 1, I do hear what you are saying. My uncle was driving home form a bar in the 70's and wrecked on a road in upstate ny. They said had he not been drunk he would have been in much worse shape. Ill do alot of crazy **** but I refuse to drive drunk, no matter what I'm in. One of my friends was killed in a boating accident about 2 months ago. The driver of the boat, a lake and bay if anyone is familiar, was drunk. My friend wasnt. They collided with a steel channel marker going 80 mph. My friend was ejected and thrown into the channel marker. End of story. It really hits home when it happens to someone close to you.

Wow those GN pics are really something! You're right Chris that Chevelle was pretty killer!

MissBlondie 12-06-2002 03:41 PM

Wow, that's absolutely awful to look at. So scary... That guy definitely had an angel on his shoulder.

Being drunk when in an accident can help minimize injuries. But if you hadn't been drinking you probably wouldn't be in the accident to begin with.
