mine is stored away jj, i bought the big k&n set up, just dont have the pipe to put it out in the fenderwell, but it helped, just being under the hood hurt's mine, i cut my snorkle & robbed another off a buick, pushed the up against the k&n, try it hey a couple of hp is good. ;) :D :D :D :D

I don't know what part of Canada you were in but 'round here we say "...so let me break...". Geesh, Americans...:p :D :D

I lost one mph in the 1/4 when I removed mine,

You can take the entire snorkel off in one piece. That's how mine is set up now. It was on of the 'free' tricks I used to pick up some ET.

Your engine will be a bit louder.....and sound better. I've seen quite a few dyno tests in magazines on 5.0L air silencer removal saying in just about every one you get 3-5 horsepower from removing the silencer. It sure couldn't hurt anything.

i did a real good cleaning of my k&n last night & this morning, what a difference , i tried putting it in the air box last night, no dice, it's too big at the back, but after driving it today - oh yeah , big difference.;)
