What shiters can us automatic trans stang drivers get with no mod's???
 

I have a 96 stang gt and i want the manual look just to be different i guess but i was looking at either hurst or b&m hammer shifter and the stang has like a bubble console so what shifter can be installed without any conversation kits or mods???? thanks

Well lets try this again, I was planning on buying the hammer shifter by B&M or the hurst version, can I fit that in my 96gt auto without buying a C4 convertion kit, is it just ready to go out of the box???thanks

If you buy the shifter made for a stang yes, it is ready to go out of the box. The C4 kit is for when you have yanked the stock 4 speed auto and replaced it with a 3-speed C4 automatic

I have the B&M hammer shifter in my 89. Its pretty straight forward to install. Disconnect the shifter cable remove the old shifter, install new shifter and re-attach shifter cable. Just make sure you get the 94-2002 version so it fits your console
