Positive Crankcase Ventilation
 

This isn't exactly concerning mustangs but I know you guys can help me out with it.

The racecar I am biulding at school uses a 600cc honda F4i engine. I know that a PCV system (breather with lines runing into the collectors on the headers) can benifit v-8's. Will this benifit my engine which revs to 14,500 rpm? I know some of you gearheads can help me out.

That's a crankcase evacuation system, not a PCV system, and sure, it would help any engine that's trying to turn high rpms.

PKRWUD is right it will help with any engine. It helps remove negative pressure in the crankcase. I would recommend using a clear hose off the breathers, so if it would ever suck oil it would be easy to spot.

Thank you for correcting my terminology. Should I place it right at the collector after the O2 sensor, and what angle should I weld it in at. Thanks.

Weld it at a 45 degree angle right at the collector. If you are using O2 sensors, make sure they (the sensors) are in front of it so that any oil that might get sucked out doesn't contaminate them.
