Just replace it with a hose.

I bought some hard plastic line from advance auto, autozone said id have to go to a dealer, and to just plug it with a screw? i dont know why i even try them,

anyway, i cut it to length, and just pushed in place, it seems to work, thnx pkrwd, btw, i like my new tb, but could barely get my coldair induction boot to fit over it, i thought they work with stock-to 70 mm? heh....

I tore mine when I put it over my 70mm bbk tb. Anyone know what can be used to replace these boots? Right now it has masking tape and the hose clamp on it, but it looks getto and needs to be fixed. Thanks.

uhh, colored electrical tape might work!

I guess I worded that wrong. I'm not so worried about the looke, although it would look better, I'm more worried about the functionality of the tape all together when subject to those temperatures. I had red electrical tape on it for a while, but, when I took it off, the tape was stuck to the hose clamp and had to be removed. The masking tape is the only thing I could find that wouldn't stick to the clamp. Is there any kind of hose, or does anyone sell replacement coupler hoses like that?

Go to home depot the have in the black iron pipe section "no-hub" connectors in all kind of sizes and they also have a stainless plate between the 2 clamps very similiar(only real difference is the no-hub connector is rubber and most turbo system come with a poly one for durability to heat) to what you see on most turbo cars.
