How much boost will my stock block take?

I have a stock block with forged pistons. I am wondering if I should wait until I get a new block to drop on the procharger. I plan on 12 psi. With my current signature + 12lbs of intercooled boost- will my block handle street driving for lets say 1 year? If I have to I can wait until I get a stroker/ but im not the most patient person either. And a year is a long time......
Anyone out there with a similar combo on a 100k stock block?
Thanks for reading

It's not the amount of boost you make, it how much power you make with x amount of boost that will determine whether you block can handle it. If the motor is in good condition (i.e: low mileage, not burning any oil), with the combo you have right now, 12 lbs is going to put you in the 425-475 rwhp range (and that's safe on a stock block). I say go for it, but upgrade your fuel system and have a good dyno tune with a wide band O2 after the blower install and before you run it hard. You could always put it on a swap pullies so your running 8-10 lbs.
